During the exile from his home-town Florence, Dante lived in many Italian cities. He was more than once a guest of the family Della Scala, the lords of Verona in the 14th century: thankful for their hospitality, he dedicated the third part of his masterwork, Paradiso (Heaven), to Cangrande Della Scala.
This tour through the historical centre of Verona will introduce you to the Father of Italian Language and Literature and let you see the places and imagine the characters he met when he was here. You will also realize how modern his work still is.
